Again, I wonder how many people have HBO to thank for getting very real black history they wouldn’t have learned otherwise. It amazes me how many people on my friends list didn’t know about “sundown towns”, especially in New England states.
Lovecraft Country did a good job juxtaposing that with the monsters coming out at night in the pilot episode.
