Celebrating Hawkman’s 85 Years of Comics: November 20, 1939 – November 20, 2024 I have often thought that the best Hawkman to my mind would be Jeff Goldblum back in his “The Fly” years. He had acting chops, a neat, sort of alien set of mannerisms, a slim but muscular build, and a facial structure that just works. Plus, I would have loved to see Gentleman Ghost or Shadow Thief as baddies in a movie, too. I don’t know whom I would pick to play them, and it likely wouldn’t matter physically since I expect they would be mostly special effects. As for Hawkwoman… I dont know.
