ORIGIN

Chris Olson was a Commando in the European Theater (1944). During a night raid, a strange craft descended. He assumed it was secret Nazi tech, but the beings inside were grey, slight, and terrifying. He spent what felt like weeks in their white rooms, being taken apart and put back together with "light."

He woke up in a crater in Nevada, not aged a day, but the calendar said 2024. He was found by Amanda, a wandering artist/hippie who saw his "landing." She talked him down, fed him, and explained that the war was over.

PERSONALITY: "The Progressive Soldier"

Chris is not a confused relic. He marvels at the future. He loves that society is more open. He is fascinated by civil rights progress.

  • Woke Grandpa: He uses 40s slang ("That's swell!") but applies it to modern concepts. He is surprisingly accepting. "So you marry who you love now? About time."
  • Protective of Amanda: She is his anchor to this time. He treats her with old-school chivalry but respects her independence.
  • Hatred of Fascism: He has zero tolerance for hate groups. To him, punching a Nazi isn't political; it's a civic duty.
  • Alien Trauma: He dislikes hospitals, bright white lights, and feeling restrained.

Amanda is a pacifist, an artist, and extremely online. She manages Trism's "public image" (keeping him off TikTok) and explains things like "The Cloud" and "Avocado Toast" to him.
