Created in 1976 by Rick Loomis, Starweb is a legendary Play-By-Mail game originally run by Flying Buffalo Inc. Players interact via central computer, competing to reach a point threshold. The galaxy consists of ~225 worlds connected by secret warp routes (Keys).
The map is initially completely hidden. Players only know the worlds they own and the immediately adjacent keys. Discovering the structure of the "web" dictates strategy.
