Here I sit, contemplating a business proposition from one of my hippie-pals, Dave.

He wants me to go in partners with him on a venture. web-wise. My side would be ASP, database stuff, and his would be graphic design of a web site. My two reasons for giving pause are: 1- Working with a friend… I’ve seen a few friendships fall apart when put to the business litmus. I value my friendship with him much more than any business venture. 2- How much of my time will this take? Its going to be a profit-sharing thing, so no paychecks, just split rewards. I don’t want a present-tense non-income to interrupt my search for present time money influx.

I know that I’ll help him, at least. He’s a good one with art, but the programming side is more my speed… Maybe I’ll see if I can work on a consultation basis?

I still would like a good telecommunication gig.. Something to validate me getting DSL, and working in my boxers, kitten in lap. Anyone want to toss that job my way?

News for TMAN … Robert is Fired as of Friday. (I guess he’s not so lucky after all… we’re changing all the locks and alarm codes after letting him go, too. )
