It depresses the hell out of me that people I grew up with or am related to have turned into people that I wouldn’t tell where Anne Frank was hiding.

I cannot stress this enough: Do not be a bystander, do not shrug the madness off or let comments or behavior slide. Do not be charitable to the willfully ignorant or cruel. Do not take the high road, or give unearned grace. Save your soft touch for those under attack.
