Day 20,397 (or doodle day seven, by the latest challenge list) A new bagel shop opened recently, just in time for the in-laws’ return to our neck of the woods for Yuletide! I got one of my favorites, a salt bagel with egg and cheese, so I am full and set for a bit. I hope you all dodged the switches and Krampus’s sack a few days ago. Unless you like that sort of thing.

I am relaxing at home, rather than hitting the blue ridge parkway, and hopefully avoiding any black Friday shopping maniacs. If you are shopping out there, or anywhere, go gently and make it back safe! When I do shop, I shop locally where I can. I’m also going to do my best to avoid anything run by redcaps or their ilk. That includes folks who advertise on Twitter.
