Spent the day pretty much on my back or in a chair, semi-stupefied by painkillers. I seem to do better when I’m moving around a little bit… after 8 hours in bed, getting up first thing in the morning can be quite difficult, at best. After making my way to the shower, I loosened up considerably.
Watched some TV and played some Wii… that’s about all. We started to watch The Number 23, but we sacked it 35 minutes in. No point in wasting any more time… the thing just couldn’t take off for…
Nice morning, until I got out of bed, and pulled my back. At that point, I was in extreme pain and after much shrieking and frightening BHK, I took a shower to loosen up a little bit and went to urgent care. I’d say it took me about 45 minutes to work out how to walk from bed to the shower…the pain was pretty significant. Agony is a good word, that sounds about right.

Bulk of fun today is where Kat asks the eternal question… Who would win: werewolves or robots?
Me, I’m with the Robots, even though my sympathies might be more for werewolves. All that talk has me wanting to play Werewolves / Mafia now. (see also)
It’s so rare to find an extra to do a 3-player game… maybe next games night at the club, we can get 8 or more to do it?
Leftover night with the in-laws… plus BHK made some pseudo-chicken in broccoli cream sauce over egg…

She’s not feeling good lately – a bad cold has clamped onto her. I hope she mends quickly.

Relaxed all day… played Chinagold, Schotten Totten, Hazienda, and such with BHK. Caught up with episodes of House, Watched the Incredibles, ate Thanksgiving leftovers, and didn’t worry too much about my pop.

Discovered winamp remote works on the wii! Nice to be able to stream my audio or video to other machines, but super nice to do it with the wii – now I can view any saved tv shows or movies on the tv without burning a dvd and moving it over. You can send to phones and pda devices, too… I’ll have to see if my palmtop is able to view streaming video – that’d make for some spiffy lunchtime viewing. (If not, no worries – I still have episodes of the 4400, Eureka, Rome, and Brass Eye to check…
