Booboo, sweetheart, dove, dolly, honey, poop – for spouse
Dingus, monkey, belly, bootsy, maniac, goober, cutie – for Pearl
Buddy, brother, bud, kid, pal – assorted folks/animals (usually critters)
If I do not know you, and I call you “friend”, well, it’s not good.
