atw man defeats kong
Won the trophy back – my win was via mario party 8 and blokus at the Naille’s house.
So far, the trick to winning was to play as a visitor, rather than a home game.
William, Bryce, Dominic, Dalton, Donnie and Damien were here tonight, to check out haunted.scottobear.com for the Callis Haunted Adventure. My friendly effort to help out William.
In other gaming news, I won mario party 8 and blokus at the Nailles on Friday night — the trophy is ours once more!
time at physical therpy was hard… back pretty cranky today, but I think that it’s helping more in the long run.
Charlie gave me a half-dozen left over popcorn balls from halloween… hopefully I can gobble one up before BHK munches ’em all! 😀

son of a gun… I just realized that we haven’t hit any corm mazes yet… better hustle before the weather flattens all the remaining stalks.
maybe the pirate ship one?
Happy Birthday, Mom.
25 years older than my little brother… 25 years younger than her mom.
halloween poe tour gig is over – heading to the diner for some grilled cheese and maybe a natty boh for late night din-din. bhk says that a canadian lesbian in a crab hat was "into" me. i suspect otherwise, but it’s nice to be thought handsome by a random passer-by.

Classic, and certainly needed!
An aircheck from Halloween night 1973. A night of radio drama starting with a local version of War of the Worlds, Arch Obler’s "The Darkness", a show on Vampires, A ghost story called "The Bed", "People Places and Things – a 30" piece on UFO’s. Including actual commercials from the time period in Buffalo, NY. All pieces were performed by DJ’s at the station at the time.
The DJ for the War of the Worlds was known as Shane, who seemed to be the archetype for the hip DJ of the time.
The first time the station aired their version of WotW several years previously, even though it was promoted heavily, police departments were called and even the National Guard was called to the Grand Island bridges! For several years afterwards it was aired with a new beginning for newer songs and dj’s but the final cutaway to the newsroom on track 10 is original.
The other pieces are very good but my favorites are ‘The Darkness’ and ‘The Monkey’s paw’. Please enjoy!

only one more day until Halloween!
Volunteering at the Poe Gravesite tomorrow – I’ll be at the front gate, and I’m not sure where BHK will be doing her thing.
I can’t believe we’ve been married 3 years since the 25th of this month. (or that I’ve had Newton for 10 years and Pye for 3 years on the same date.)

I thik I’m going to be a zombie- cajun alligator king for halloween… perhaps a relative of wavey? (but with a red cape and lots of beads.)
wavey!
