Throwback from our shopping for a new holiday ornament or two.

We didn’t get HO, but it got an honorable mention. No HOs for us!!

Got pretty darn chilly after work today, waiting for the bus – bad day for it to be late. Discovered that my rain jacket is water "resistant" not water "repellant!" When the bus finally came, my skin was bright red as I defrosted… cold enough that it hurt a bit. 

We drove through about 2 feet of water on the way home… but that was worth it, because Cathy & Dave sent us  homemade cookies for Xmas! (and something wrapped in gold paper for under the tree)

Nom nom nom.

BHK and David saw the wienermobile, and BHK sang the commercial jingle… got us two glow in the dark wiener whistles!!

They also made use of David’s 40% discount at B&N for books… and hit the thrift shop and got me a nice $6 dress shirt (blue-blue)

BHK made kraut and veggie dogs…. Chris and Larry came over, and brought potato pancakes!

Long ol’ Day at work, and a *seemingly* longer commute home.

Cousin David met BHK and I at the Suitland Station and we whisked off to the in-laws for Chinese food and an animated discussion on what David is up yo lately (his Hungarian girlfriend, school, etc etc)

BHK and I had to duck out early – "school night" for me – but we got some fun convo in, Larry and I discussed the banjo, and had a nice visit.

Just because I was bored for about a half-moment, here’s me being mind controlled by Starro, the conqueror.
