Big wins of the day – I had a leftover birthday macaroon tupperware-sealed in my desk in the office! Nice treat for mid-afternoon.. still moist and delicious. Added bonus, going out for Monday night half-price falafel night after work with BHK and the in-laws – with special guest Adam!
Adam seems to be adjusting to living in an apartment near campus quite nicely… better place than I had in school, for sure… private bedroom with a private bathroom. I think he’s adapting to a land full of…
Standard morning – good ol’ allergy shots. BHK noted that the reception area was more flirty with me than usual… I didn’t think so, but I got teased by the Mrs. all the way to Maerten’s, where we finally got BHK her engagement ring… 16 months after we got married! I’m happy that the designs worked out as well as they did…. The gang there were very good about the whole development process, and are always wonderful to work with. Jamie and Heather were especially caring…

Got up bright and early to take care of more work stuff.. got it off of my plate by 10 am. Newton and Pyewacket hung out in the office with me, bringing soothing purrs and general cuteness to assist with the pretty boring machinations of general purpose analysis. (See cam picture posted earlier)

Chinese food at in-laws, and watched Jane Austen Book Club… surprisingly good. BHK said it was better than the book.
Chris’s B’day is on the 13th… a trip to the tea room is out, since high tea was cancelled, due to lack of interest. ah well. We’ll find something else nice.

Downright Balmy today – 70 degrees! Last year it was snowing.
I have to say that I agree with District Diaries… *many* buses (Especially the C7 and R2, in my experience) are just not very weather tight.
Got my ducks in a row at the doctor today… some cough syrup type stuff, an antibiotic to fight infection due to the irritation, and apparently I can get my pneumonia vaccine (renews every 5-10 years) after I’ve mended up a smidgen.
Dinner at Mexico… BHK got steak flautas, and I got…
