It’s PANCAKE DAY !
Sakes.. it all seems so early this year. I don’t have the chops to eat pancakes tonight… still feeling a bit under the weather – but I don’t do lent either, so it’s all good. some mini-bagels and wheat chex with blueberries is just what I needed.
JC told me about a pneumonia shot… I’d never heard of such a thing. I’m going in to see my doctor today about getting one… apparently, JC had some bronchial issues…

Back to work, back to work. Hacked my lung like a fool at work today – that’ll teach me to not bring the ol’ inhaler along. It was pretty bad mid to end-day… I’m surprised nobody came around to put me out of my misery with a shovel or something.
The ride home on the subway wasn’t too bad… did a lot of people take today off, to recover form the Superbowl?
Speaking of which – It looked like Jordin Sparks was lip-syncing at the Superbowl yesterday, but it could just be a delay between…

Well, the Patriots lost, but I really don’t follow football. Too bad about them not having a perfect run, though.
Had tasty taco salads for belated birthday dinner tonight… quite yummy! BHK and I are mending up nicely – spent a goodly chunk of the day resting and watching America’s Cutest Puppy
and then Puppy Bowl IV – I did enjoy the Kitty “halftime show”. Apparently, I’m a giant…

Feeling better, but not at 100% Maybe 60%…. Better than the 15% yesterday. – went back to work, mainly because I had far too many meetings I couldn’t afford to miss. Accursed Bronchial tubes!
Physically achy from the coughing, but otherwise doing ok. Got a nosebleed right before my 10am teleconference… that was a hoot.
Later tonight, after dinner, I got to replicate my hulk icon from yesterday… so… there we are. *Blarf*
Heading to bed at 9:30 tonight good rest will mend me up. Poor…

just coughing, and not really moving much, aside from rolling in and out of bed to the purple chair. shower helped, but I’m whipped. Contrary to icon, no vomiting.
Ate some of BHK’s super homemade soup for heat and some ice cream for cool in the war-torn throat… but primarily a lot of fluids. Newt held a longtime vigil at the bed, and only left for a snack when Pye came up to cover for him. He was back moments later. I think he likes it when I’m acting as a bed-warmer all day.
Yesterday, I played the demo version of Bioshock for the PC while BHK read her book after dinner. Very cool designs and vibe… my only complaint is how some of the splicers look – and that’s a really small complaint. Beats watching the state of the Union Address.
Downright scary game with a pretty keen storyline and set of game-play traits. I’ll probably pick it up after polishing off the Orange box.

BHK made tasty pizza for the in-laws and me tonight… mine had eggplant and garlic with ricotta, and the other was true pepperoni. good stuff.
Presenting a doodle for the coloring book done on the palm while on the subway, then fiddled with GIMP once back home. I was thinking about making him more beveled looking, but rather dig the 2D vs 3D vibe going there. I’d like to see the coloring book community revitalized again.
