Law enforcement just ran into a building at 4th and M –
Not a drill, but a false alarm.
Current info going around – NO shots fired – employee heard a loud noise, reported it – was a false alarm.
I have no idea what the “shooters are two males, 1-white, 1 black” came from then. I hope any and all misinformation is dealt with.

D.O.T. headquarters building is now open. Employees,
contractors and visitors may enter the building. Investigation is on-going at Navy Yard.
Traffic on M Street is still blocked.

No incident can be confirmed as of yet.

DC Fire & EMS now clearing closures around #NavyYard after no injuries or signs of actual shots fired found despite initial reports.
