Drawlloween, day 20: vile viper.

Say hello to Ophelia Sarkissian, aka Madame Hydra, aka Viper. She showed up in Captain America #110 back in February 1969, courtesy of Jim Steranko. Her résumé is poison immunity, elite martial arts and marksmanship, and a strategist’s brain that carried her all the way to the top of Hydra, with a loadout of poison-tipped darts, knives, guns, and whips.

The Avengers and the X-Men have been dealing with her for decades now, but I still think of her and Hydra as mostly Cap baddies.

I went with her rather than a snake, because I was really at a loss for an Ed-style snake scene that would vibe (see how to draw pics after the source images)
