Spotted the short-tailed albino squirrel on my walk. Maybe not truly albino? The hair on the tail is growing back in brownish black… Or is just a cute but dirty paintbrush. Rainy walk kept things cooler at just about 70°F. I. Impressed that I could find the degrees symbol without any effort, otherwise I’d have just omitted it. And hey, ho, the wind and the rain! I didn’t see any other significant critters. No frogs with banjos. No bunnies with umbrellas. Cosmic corruptor mushi
Cosmic Corruptor Mushi – Red Orange with purple paint applications. 26 total parts with Mini Mushi. I like the alternate ant head. (The mantis head shown came with nemesis, but fits this one very well too.) This, along with the matching nemesis is my first get from Godbeast. Look at that 2-color mini Mushi! So freaking cute, and the wings are adorable. Definitely digging the organic / buggy look, and these guys are so rugged and solid! I wish my toys as a kid had the durability and color that these do. Very nice actual paint, the colors bright green, yellow, purple and blue on red plastic just pops.
It has a sort of “power rangers enemy” vibe. It is 26 pieces, and two of them are *extremely* tiny detail bits in the back, and I would worry that they would be lost if I am not extra careful. That said, it is nice to be able to swap those out for some other color just to fiddle when I ultimately obtain more of this sculpt!

The first recorded death of COVID-19 in America was on Feb. 29. On April 23, 54 days later, the death toll was 50,234. Today, May 27, 34 days from the “halfway” mark, our death toll stands at 100,276. Or, to put it another way, in less than 100 days, over 100,000 Americans have died.

I adore this sweet robot. Super solid, swirly purple with silver paints. I have the urge to carry it with me everywhere like a dolly. He is too big to put in my pocket, or I might have lapsed into just keeping it nearby anyhow.
13 total parts, with an alternate head hidden inside a barely hollow cup inside the body.
I recently acquired a number of toys in the “grape soda and silver” colorway, and it is just so visually pleasing to my eye.

Swamp walk today, saw a a ton of squirrels, including an albino. I think we have more than one, because this guy has a long tail and the other we saw last week had a shortened one. Also seen, were a male and female cardinal,a bluejay, an osprey, a clutch of turkey vultures, a few robins, and neighborhood cats tuxedo Panda and tabby Sid. Tabby Peach was lost yesterday, but was found at Panda’s house a few hours later, thankfully. Our poor neighbor was understandably worried about her, given local fox activity lately. I am glad that our boy Pyewacket is strictly indoor, and prefers that for the most part. I didn’t see the foxes or eagles today. The swamp is getting much more lush and green, harder to look as deep into the woods than last week. We are approaching peak “green glow” and I am ok with that. Still cool outside, upper 60s. I will miss the cool days when they go. Walk was taken nice and early, so there were no other pedestrians in sight but a couple of cars passed a fair distance away. #whitesquirrel #albinosquirrel #walkies

Maybe Mrs and I will play #Scythe tonight? If I get time to set it up and for us to play after/during dinner. Pictured here are Polanian Anna & Wojtek (marksman and bear) next to Crimean Zehra and Kar (Archer and eagle) My suspicion, based purely on faction name and is that she will want to play #Crimea or #Rusviet, and I of course will probably lean to #Polania, #Saxony or #Nordic. I suspect that it won’t make any difference, other than cosmetically. Each has different abilities, but hopefully it is balanced. Since the average game takes about 115 minutes (odd number to use, not 2 hours?) It will probably take us twice that time to play the first one. Thank goodness for quick start cards…. I figure we will just jump in and start pushing buttons to see how things work, and trying to keep Pyewacket from jumping on the table to scatter pieces. #games #gaming #toyphotography #gamenight #miniatures
