Harvest time in Maryland makes me smile. The apples yesterday were wonderful and crisp. I scarfed two of ’em down before I even knew what happened. The hot apple dumpling at Bruster’s topped with cinnamon ice cream was phenomenal before the ghost tour on Friday, too.

Fixed a door with Larry most of the day on Chesapeake Beach.

Pizza and ice cream was had.

My pants were pleated by Chris due to weight loss.

Football on tv that nobody watched.

Good productive family time.

My current facial hair configuration makes me feel like the Ray Crabbe version of Santa.

This was St. Mary’s County in 1933. Ghostly St. Mary’s County “spirits” don’t take it lying down as they make unsavory alliances to make and supply big city backrooms during the Great Depression.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to take the chill off by our roaring bonfire (weather permitting)

Second day crock pot veggie chili and Solomon Kane and Children’s hospital.  Not a bad end to the day.

Considered the Michael Caine Italian Job but thought it’d be better saved for Larry and Chris to see with us.
