Hard to sleep last night – restless, nightmares, and all that.

I was still feeling a bit out of sorts at lunchtime… see below.

BHK picked me up after work, and we headed to selby for some supper with the in-laws.

Nice dinner, and now a bit of rest. Tomorrow is Breakfast with the Mansbergers!

Tasty Salad at lunch, with lots of work on either side of it.

Made a date with BHK to see the Pietasters in May! A little Ska never hurts! Also made plans to go get some pancakes with Duncan, J, and Sean this weekend!

Bloody Fun Day is a strategic arcade game where players control the Reaper as he plows his way through little critters. Every time Death sticks his scythe into one of the creatures, he gains points but loses health. Destroying red creatures will bring his life back up.

 

Each set of creatures killed leave behind eggs which need to be left alone to hatch into even more critters. Building up points also gives Death special abilities which can be activated in order to grab even more points. It’s all about bagging as many points as possible before you run out of life.

 

The game mechanics work really well and it’s a very nice concept. There’s a tutorial to get you going and a couple of game modes to choose from. Play it over at Kongregate. (via indiegames.com)

Got home from work, and had more homework to do before bed – I think I’m pretty prepared for tomorrow’s meeting, though.

Not much to say, save that I’m sleepy, and tonight’s Big Bang Theory was pretty weak. They’re on a train and Summer whoozit from Terminator / Firefly is there. Bleh. Best thing about the episode was the end title card.

"Funny story about this morning. I made a bagel and went upstairs to sit on the bed and eat it and watch the news. I kept hearing this rumble. I couldn’t figure out what it was—maybe my stomach or something outside…at 6am??? On the bed was my jacket which I’d taken off after curling up in yesterday when I wasn’t feeling well and I was cold—-the sound seemed to be coming from there—I touched the coat and felt a lump—trying to figure out if it was Newt I picked it up and—-he had WRAPPED himself like a burrito A BURRITO in my coat and he was purring like CRAZY!!! He’s so silly!!!!"
