Kari on call tonight, so I’m parked at the HQ again once I get home. Big Kahuna is back from Seattle, so I’ll be catching her up with pictures from the trip and making her aware of our latest four recoveries. Texas and Indiana have been really taking off.
My semi-monthly blood-sticker saw me on the news the other night. When I got to the center, they pumped me for both platelets and information about the org. I may’ve won over a convert or two to do volunteering.

Wait a minute… aren’t humans considered to be primates? The ape suborder Haplorrhini includes gibbons, orang-utans, gorillas, chimps and humans, I think.

EN’s net is still out, so I took the opportunity to toss Oona on again. Much slower evening than Friday, but I still stayed at HQ, in case something weird came up.

My current address is 1501.1 miles (Approximate Travel Time: 23 hours 5 mins) from the first place I was raised. (According to Yahoo maps.. for some reason, map directions are broken on Google right now.)
I did a search on Scottobear on google. it returns “about 45,800” back. yikes. I’m 99.99% sure the name is unique on the net.

Watched the Krypto Cartoon that introduced Streaky. (The Canine Space Patrol wasn’t bad, either… renamed “Dog Star Patrol”. I haven’t seen Ace, the Bat-hound, yet. Apparently, Krypto will team up with Ace to chase after the Joker’s Hyenas. ) All in all, it seems to be a good kid’s show.

I get about 15 human-placed anonymous lj-spams a day. I’m really not sure what they think that they’ll accomplish.. no other human will see it but me, and I just delete ’em right from being screened. no spider will pick ’em up.

7309 – Muh-hun-dee and Lava Pie
Fun time at the club yesterday, got a brief introduction to mzk’s short term roomie… seems very professional. I picked up an application on the way out to do a little after hours work, myself.. maybe make a few side-dollars for fun money, and enjoy the company of nice folks I hang out with, anyhow. Marissa and Steve were tending bar tonight.
I’m astounded that nobody mentioned either Newt, Mzk in skimpy gear, or my robot doodle in yesterday’s entry. I have to remember to add MzKitten to the list of awesome felines with Red-fur (hair)
A surprising turn of events… only one person where I work has an operable VCR, and Mona didn’t have a usable tape. ah well. I wasn’t on the WB 10pm broadcast, but I was on the 11pm NBC airing, very briefly.. maybe a half-minute sound bite. I did ok, all things considered.
Doctor Who Continues to be good… a solid mix of humor and drama. Not bad at all!
