I’m going to start cursing in a moment.

ICQ breaks, then AIM, then any connections… frickin’ isp.

I’m pretty agitated… really haven’t seen the gal all weekend due to bad timing or tech trouble… I’m physically very antsy and irritable…. I need my fix of her.

on an up note, my machine is mostly up and running now, with the exception of my #2 monitor… I’m going to have to download directx 8, and hope for the best.

Got my drivers, and my supplier should be here in about an hour with the repaired bits…soon I’ll have sound, and more access to my machine.

I should be back online by 3ish, 4ish at the latest…it won’t be a moment too soon… I’ve missed my sweetheart so much… haven’t talked with her live for over a day, but we’ve blipped each other e-mail or ICQ.. so I’m not dead from withdrawal… Next time I see her, I’m going to just grab and run… take her to a private place and tell her all the love and desire I have for her…

I have been known to go wookie on folks (that I don’t love… my brother and girlfriend could probably get away with it, but they’re too sweet to do so) that play them on me, or hurt those I love with them. Practical Jokes just aren’t funny.

So, fair warning, people of Earth. Don’t monkey with me, because I will enforce a karmic retribution so heinous and vile, you’ll wonder how I was kept from being locked up for this long.

Maybe see little brother, and maybe do a little rpg… we’ll see. 🙂

Be fun to whip out the d20 system, maybe play a kindly monk, cleric or druid…

Maybe catch a flick, and late luch?… *ponders Maybe a movie. I guess we’ll work it out when he gets here.

Let me tell you a story about my landlord’s girlfriend.

The Apartment I live in is a duplex… a studio built into the side of an old house… My current landlord and his girlfriend have lived in the main house for about 3 or so years now, since buying it from my prior landlord. in that span of time, Linda has caused a few problems, and is still doing so. I have my computer and AC on one breaker at the house, which is also connected to the bathroom in the main house. *every* (and I mean *every*) two to three weeks, she forgets, and uses the hair dryer in the guest bathroom, killing my air conditioning, and snuffing my computer… actually drained my UPS to the point of needing a replacement. I’ve told her, and David has told her each time that’s she can’t, but her selfish, beer-addled brain seems unable to retain the knowledge. Since I can’t move the computer or air conditioner… this is really the only alternative. I’m going to ask David tonight if he can disable the plug in the bathroom.

Time for some pavlovian therapy. I think if she receive a mild electric shock every time she was inconsiderate, hmm… no, that wouldn’t work… she’s be electrocuted from the stacking.

Just got out of a meeting, and something is on my mind.

I’m a little tired of hearing folks use certain terms as slurs for intolerant, mean, or non-thinking. especially when they themselves are doing the same disservice.

Here’s a few.

A liberal to me is someone who is very accepting of other folks, live and let live. Not someone who gets outraged at someone having a different belief, but a tolerant person… a liberal to my mind is about as open minded as one can be.

Christian. woo. here’s a big one for me. Using Christian for hatemonger or mean-spirited is about as backwards as you can get… Even if you don’t buy into the JC sort of philosophy, you’d be hard pressed to say that the teaching of Jesus is a bad thing. Please, don’t let the actions of a few zealots cloud your view of the whole. (That goes for everything, by the way… like calling all blacks criminals, or all men rapists… or all single white males serial killers.) When I hear my pagan pals malign someone by calling them Christian, or referring to the “Christian mentality”, it’s like me hearing someone called a “Nigger”. (Which used to just refer to the color of someone’s skin, before a bundle of hate was tossed behind it.) On a side note of religion, using Jew to refer to being cheap or worse, making a verb out of it… “Tried to Jew me down at the bake sale”… makes my ears just turn off. I simply don’t want to even hear what the person has to say anymore.

wow, got so put out there, I can’t even think of the other examples I was going to give.

I didn’t realize you could get a Ph.D. in parapsychology, but it’s good that as part of the curriculum you will work on discovering “new vocational niches”. You could always set up a website to sell equipment all paranormal researchers need, like EMF meters, and, ahem, batteries. Maybe you could hit up the ISPR for a job later on. Me, I’m picking up an EMF meter and heading out to some spooky places, despite my lack of official qualifications. Or maybe I’ll just go to Australia and apply to be a contestant on Scream Test, because I’m too old to audition for MTV’s Fear. Real ghostly encounters? Some of them seem suspiciously rigged, but the show is still a great way for some paranormal investigators to make money.

Did I mention that reality Tv does nothing for me? Survivor- pooties. Adultery Island (or whatever) – drek.

Give me TLC, Discovery, the history channel, and maybe a shot of cartoons here and again.

Oh, and the lone gunman are on tonight.
