So I was looking for something light to help me learn Italian. Then I learned that there’s actually a Disney comic published in Italy called PAPERINIK that’s about Donald Duck having a superhero identity (?!). But it started out as a riff on Diabolik with Donald Duck committing crimes against the many people wronged him (?!?!) and even though he became a more straightforward superhero he still occasionally kills his enemies (?!?!?!) and his main enemies are an alien race that turns entire planets into zombie slaves (?!?!?!?!) and his real love interest isn’t Daisy Duck but an alien warrior out to commit genocide against said race (?!?!?!?!?!).
