Our local electronics store had me clear a window from 7am – 7pm today for the delivery of a tv for the red room. About seven hours into that window, they contacted us to say that it isnt coming until the twelfth, seven days from now. I would think that all of those 7s was meaningful if I believed in numerology. I do not, so we are just inconvenienced in an interesting way. I don’t even really mind because I was going to be here all day doing chores anyhow, and the TV probably wouldn’t be mounted until after that.
The first few inches of snow may come tomorrow, and I am looking forward to staying in again and just drinking cocoa, sipping soup, and snuggling close to my favorites (both the Mrs and the Kitty) , since I run warm, and they love that in wintertime.
The sky has been overcast, both white and gray at different times, and weather dropped to the 20s F last night. It got up to the 40s today, but I imagine it will drop again to make a sloppy mix of ice/snow/protoslush tomorrow.
@maximillian_deersteak started some lovely lasagna soup in the crock pot, and it smells awesome right now.

Snow is said to be coming, but today was quite clear, sunny and breezy. Tonight, the temperature is dropping, so I am glad I got most of the outside of the house chores covered today. (Sent back some stuff to Amazon, got groceries, and picked up some useful meds.) That said, oddes are good that it won’t count as a big snow day, maybe a couple of inches, if we get any at all.
Inlaws went back to the Chesapeake bay this morning, so it’s just the big three at home now.

Amy is back in parts more Long Islandish, and the inlaws came over for a day of decoration teardown, tech support, cook out quesadillas, and an episode of Shetland.
Mothman FIL chopped up our Tannenbaum for pickup and future mulching by the city, and it wasn’t as traumatic as I was guessing that it might be. (We still have a few fake and lit trees in the hall). All the 3d printed ornaments are back in storage, and the mantle is once again bare, save for TV equipment.
Resting now, doodled while updating MILs laptop for tax season, her fitbit, and played a trifle with the Brynelords that arrived today. Sisto and Harold are back nearby, and I may be taking them out for walkies sometime this week (before possibly snowy Saturday, anyhow) I want to get back up to the hiking stamina I had before my bout with cellulitis.

Feeling rough today, missing the boys and back is giving me fits. Heating pad, meds and rest helped with those things.
Upside, had fun doing a bit of Animal Crossing and Lego with Amy and Allison, got pizza and watched movies with the inlaws.
Things are a bit better now, and will only improve over time.

Collaboration played House of Danger, and we made it through Chapter one so far. (With only minor setbacks of having stepped on a landmine and being buried alive in a freshly dug grave)
Our Danger Meter is fairly safe for now, and psychic ability is Level 2
Current equipment is a pocket knife, water bottle, vibrating sphere, piece of satellite dish, battery, map of the hedge maze, and a key to a truck.
Chapter two awaits, after we take a little Agatha Raisin break.
Veggie sausage / impossible burger meatballs are roasting in the oven for supper, yum!
