Weather is nice today, maybe 50F. Some cool wind coming from the Chesapeake bay, otherwise I suspect it would be downright balmy.
#bogsafari critter count is high, several black vultures, squirrels, and also aquatic activity in the swamp kicking up ripples.
Smokey the cat was out and about and several unseen kids were noisily playing in yards as I headed to the swamp. A few kids also on bikes riding down the road not wearing masks.

The book Breakfast of Champions was better than I remember. I think it may be the best of Vonnegut’s stuff that I have recently read so far. For the love of all that is good abut the book, do not watch the movie first! (Or, best case, don’t watch the movie at all. Terrible, it changes the ending and theme, wasted use of actors)
Starting Slapstick now, and I don’t think remember having read it previously. (I think that I would remember a totally post-apocalyptic setting. ) Betty and Bobby Brown are something. Some pretty interesting concepts about gravity , miniaturized humans and Mars colonies.
