on the subject of me.
Ate 2 morningstar farms hot-pockets, pseudo pepperoni pizza, had a big cherry slushie from burger king, and unquantifiable (by me) amount of water, for breakfast I had a bagel w/peanut butter. for supper, I hope to nosh on some taco bell… we’ll see what the night crew wants. maybe chinese?
Talked to Zoe, and Danny and other folks briefly, had fun… but now it’s time to head home, so I’ll see you kids on the flipside…

Playing Catchup!
Well, last night, I went with buddy Dan to see X-Men. (my 2nd time, his first), since I got out of the job early, I actually was able to do some socializing tonight… got an offer to see the patriot with Robby & Co, but I’ve already seen it a few times, anyhow, and wasn’t up to another 3 hour extravaganza. A shame, really, because I’d hav eliked to see the gang… but they’d have been in the dark, and shtum the whole time, too.
I was bad yesterday foodwise. Before going to see the movie, Danny & I went to Hops, my first time there, even though it’s pretty close to the house & the theatre. I got 2 alligator ales, a local microbrew which was tasty and not too bitter. With that, I got an order of Jalapeno poppers and a baked potato with chives, sour cream, and butter. Yum. Fattening, but yum. For lunch, I had 2 slices of cheese pizza from Pizza Hut (Sorry hungry howies, they ordered it from work. Upside, if I had gotten it from HH, I’d have had more than 2 slices.) I drank a total of 12 liters of water, and I think I absorbed almost all of it. It’s odd, but 2 beers can make me want to pee, but that much water is shrugged off, for the most part. Of course, I was sweating profusely during my walk this morning, so I’m guessing that’s where it ran off to.
got back on schedule, walked my 5 mile walk, after missing it yesterday.
I suspect ol’ April’s reading my journal, not that I mind, terribly. Either her, or Newton’s surfing the net when I’m not home. 🙂

When last we saw super-grover… Uh, wait, wrong story.
Anyhow. I work the next week or so from noon to 8 instead of from 4 to midnight. It should improve my social standing, at least for a bit. 🙂 I get out early tonight, and I think I’m going to hook up with pal Danny, and go see some movie… I don’t know what’s left to see!
Still haven’t caught Me, Myself, & Irene or gone in 60 sec. I don’t know if I want ot see the Kid.
Nothing this week really appeals to me, not even the Harrison Ford thing. I wish Hollow man opened Today. Or Even Thomas the Tank Engine. Hmm… I’ve not seen Rocky and Bullwinkle yet… I hear it’s stinky, but I’m a fan of the old school stuff. I’m not up for another 3 hour movie, but Sunshine looks neat, too. I look forard to seeing how the mood & music settings fit.

the needle penetrates his skin easily, pumping him full of multiple cc’s of a foreign, ghastly substance. human blood, now coursing through his veins. highly hallucinogenic. within moments, he feels his comfortable green skin beginning to peel away from the amorphous membrane that holds his brain in its sac of comfort and delight. his suckers begin to pulse as though a human heart were now beating inside of him; perhaps it is psychosomatic, tales of how that strange hydraulic organ pumps this wild hallucinogen throughout their tiny pink nubs. eventually, his suckers can no longer hold him down, and he begins to float freely, only the saliva tethers keeping him safely connected to the surface of the glans-body below.

I don’t know what it is, but it seems I attract friends that are super-transient. I don’t think I’m going to chum up with computer programmers anymore especially as I’ve had the worst luch with them moving off to Texas, California, and other points west, near places with deserts. Ray & Kathleen, Alex, Jim, and no doubt, shortly (when leases are up?) Robb, Brian, and Heather (If she and Brian can keep it together. I’m pretty surprised it’s lasted this long… maybe she needs to marry a guy, before relationships start to fragment? Maybe Brian was what she needed? Who knows? I’m happy if they’re happy, and I’ll be saddened when it they go through what I feel is the inevitable breakup.) I’m very fortunate to have a few friends that are more securely anchored. Danny, Dave, Cathi are solid… Suzy’s good, but more needy on that spectrum.
today…
Went Kite flying with April & Danny before work… lots of fun, but I’m dead-tired now. the heat just sort of sucked the strength right out of me. They seemed to get along very well, even with the very different natures involved. Downside was that April got up extra early this am, to fill in at work, and they didn’t even need her there! (She offered to take over because someone called in sick, then the sick-ee showed up.) Got the web cam installed at home, but still having trouble getting the broadcast image out to the ftp site. 😛 humbug! fun little program, though. Planning on going to the Graves museum of archaeology & natural history sometime next week… i think it’ll be a good time. I’d like to take Robby with us, but it will be during the day, maybe I can convince him to skip for a few hours, depending on his schedule. Brian’s a possibility too, since he works at home, now. Heather? Hard to say, as she’s not in charge of her dept. Tomorrow’s Friday! Hoo-hah! Can the weekend be far behind?
