Brother came over last night, late looking to crash (slept on the porch – Newt hair gets him). Apparently he missed the last bus home, so he wanted a place to just rest until he could take off. I was awake, so no big deal… until 3am when he woke me up trying to come inside the apartment looking for a snack, I gave him a smart ones sundae cone (only 2 points! hooray for splenda!) and wished him good night. He woke me again at 6am looking to get $1 for a bus pass (and another sugary snack from the freezer). A pity he wasn’t thinking more clearly, or I could have been only awakened once. I am sleeping more soundly, was very likely to go the whole night.

Thinkin’ about my sweetie, and that makes me smile.

bp is 110/70, haven’t taken any pain meds since right before bed last night. Riva noted that my wound is mending nicely, and nothing should impede staple removal on Friday.

Hmm.. I hope Jonna got my checks deposited ok on Friday… still no reflection, but it is the weekend.

I expect to see the Madre swing by today…she’s nicely picking up some drinks for me. I think Danny is coming by sometime today too, as well as the first visit by the “hairwashing” nurse. I can birdbath ok on my own, but it’s difficult to get my head under the sink.
