Still not feeling so hot – yummy quiche for breakfast, and tonight we watched fanboys & extract and had a nice picnic upstairs – tried the new domino’s pizza – no the greatest, more than a little greasy. Movies weren’t the best, but it’s nice to spend time with BHK in our little treehouse.

terribly sick – probably shouldn’t have gone out and about yesterday – I’m really gravelly and wiped out. Probably won’t go over to the Naille’s for game night this evening. sore throat, sore joints, high fatigue.

The upside is that I’m enjoying Colors! on the DS and streaming old-school radio and tv detective shows.

Nutshelling to catch up – backdated, so it shouldn’t autopost everywhere.

I am still sick – went out to pick up my acekard2i at ups with Chris and BHK. I’ll be putting homebrews on my christmas prezzie in no time!

Of course, a trip with Chris means shopping, so I parked at gamestop while BHK and her mom roamed around homegoods and pier 1.

Hump day again, again, dear journal. Some good news – Netflix is coming to the Wii this spring-

Woke up with a sore throat – hopefully I’m not succumbing to BHK’s lingering congestion, and it was only dust from the loft. We’ll know more soon enough!

Telephone interview today – it went well! I look forward to hearing more from them soon.

Farewell, Christmas tree! You are now out by the side of the road for bulk pickup. Started off slow today, with a workout and Craig Ferguson talking about the NBC lineup issues.

BHK and I dragged the tree outside, while Newton and Pye watched… Pye made a break for it three or four times, I finally locked ‘em both up in the office while the door was opening and closing so much. Pye’s big ol’ snowshoe feet are perfect for the powder in our front yard.

Spent some time tonight trying to recover BHK laptop, reseated the ram… next is to take out the battery and power supply overnight, and see if the emptied charge will come back in the morning.

Watched Fanboys and Extract for our pizza-night in the loft… more fun just spending time together than the movies themselves. 🙂

Hey! Today is a palindrome! 011110 !

BHK made me a wonderful breakfast of veggie omelets and English muffin – nice dose of protein to begin the day solidly.

Bad news technology-wise… BHK’s laptop seems to have taken a nap from which it won’t awake. I suspect the internal power supply. Looking into cracking it open soon, if the alternate cable doesn’t fix her up.

Shadow of the Vampire this evening, while we strip the tree of it’s ornaments and lights – rather a counterpoint too last year’s Kolchak festival while putting on the goodies.

Started watching sanctuary tonight, but the allure of Big Kahuna took it over. We’ve made it to 94 of 99 levels complete, and all but one tropical fish unlocked.

Dinner of tasty twisty pasta and unchicken strips in a tomato-cream sauce, with lots of tasty garlic!

snow day today – a light dusting cleaned up the dirty slush left over from the blizzard.

It’s weird that my life is so cross-referenced on the web that I post 4 entries in various parts of facebook for each journal post I make. sorry about that!

Watched There Will Be Blood last night with BHK. (We’re rolling the netflix queue again)… and, not to sound like the horse from Ren & Stimpy, but No sir, I dodn’t think I have any use for the movie. It seemed like a very long 2nd act to me. Didn’t surprise me that it was from the same cat that did Magnolia, another film I didn’t really dig. No sir, I don’t like it.

My newest nickname is “Dr. Polarbearchesthair” for taking care of BHK while she has the sickies – If I can just get the laptop to the bed, maybe she’ll rest! Fortunately, she has her DS and a copy of Lego Indiana Jones to keep her situated for the time being.

I like that I live somewhere that still uses horse-drawn carriages alongside the jets.

BHK and I finally viewed Watchmen last night – not bad.. I actually think I prefer the revised ending, though the characters itself needed a lot of explanation to BHK. I give it a 6/10… Better than it might’ve been.

BHK still has her cold – looks like it’s moving down from her sinus to her chest now – hopefully, it means she’s getting better.

Got Heron: Steam Machine for the Wii – or “Yet another pipes game” – it’s a lot of fun, and stress levels are high, especially in multiplayer.

Off to the grocery – going to get some filling for tonight’s quiche feast!
