Harold ventures off to bring back food for Sisto. He takes a little droid and green feline steed, but seems to have left his pants behind again. I am beginning to think it is a lifestyle choice and not forgetfulness.

What’s for dinner on Friday night? I am guessing pierogies.

Weather is brisk, 28⁰F.

For today’s episode of War Stories, Ars Technica sat down with Prince of Persia creator Jordan Mechner to learn about the challenges he faced while bringing his ambitious vision for the game to life. As the 1980’s wound down, Mechner found himself fighting against not only the limitations of the Apple II hardware but the impending death of the platform itself. Decades later, Prince of Persia remains a classic example of how the constraints of early gaming led to solutions that advanced the artform.

Sisto and Harold wanted to share that they got another scale arcade machine to go with space invaders and ms pac man!

The newest addition is burgertime! This guy used to chew through my quarters back in the day. On this little box I love that the little marquee lights up as well as the screen.

I think poor Harold is suffering from a touch of frost from his trip outside sans pants…maybe we had better put him in the greenhouse for a bit.

Need a change?
Give intentional sameness a try.
It’s a profound shift in which you honestly take stock of who you are and what you enjoy and adjust your plans to optimize that person’s happiness.
Experiment with the idea that you, now, are valid.
For many, it’s a bold new path.

I posted the above text on social media a few days ago. While walking in the woods today, I thought I would talk a bit more about this idea.
There are many things we can’t control. For the things we can control, what is driving our decisions for how we make plans?

Please be careful.

The U.S. has reported a record single-day number of daily Covid cases, with more than 1 million new infections.
