I am relaxing at home, rather than hitting the blue ridge parkway, and hopefully avoiding any black Friday shopping maniacs. If you are shopping out there, or anywhere, go gently and make it back safe! When I do shop, I shop locally where I can. I’m also going to do my best to avoid anything run by redcaps or their ilk. That includes folks who advertise on Twitter.

A few moments of Pearl today. We received a gift of ice cream and took some time to read and relax today. Thank you, Leslie, for the ice cream! Pearl got a taste too and found it as delicious as we did.

I’ve got plenty to be thankful for. I have a roof over my head, most of the medicines that I need, people that I love, and who love me.
I hope that you can find things for which to be thankful, too, even in these very trying times.
That turkey is thankful to have made it through another day. I hope we can all be thankful for that, too.
