99- again, no more adsense.

I was interested in trying out google ads on livejournal – I had dropped adsense once, years ago, because they were behaving erratically, and were serving ads that I didn’t want served. (primarily MLM – scam type stuff, and possible pronography.)

Since then, I had heard that they had cleaned up thier act a bit, so I figured I’d try it with the supposed opportunity of lj linking to them.

Over the last 3-4 weeks I got more than a couple of hits, maybe $10-20 worth of coin… and then this morning I find out that my account was suspended.

Why?

Here’s the quote –

advertisers in the future, we’ve decided to disable your account.

That’s a laugh – My journal recently has been little more than pictures of kittens and the occasional entry of content.

I’ve since removed them from all of my entries, and if asked, I’ll heartily recommend yahoo ads over google adsense any day.
