I wanted to end the year by releasing a well-produced video in which I announce the release of the POCKETNAUT figure. This is a little homage to the cheaper plastic toys we would carry around as kids. But I wanted to put a spin on this one: The character can have 15 different facial expressions. A new Cookie Monster video might be on the horizon! But for now, here’s something a little different. I know, I know… by 2020 standards the lyrics are not exactly culturally sensitive. And neither are many of the early Popeye cartoons. But if you’re like me and you love old music and classic animation, maybe you’ll get some enjoyment out of this!
For me it’s like a glimpse into the YouTube content from an alternative timeline, where maybe Nikola Tesla invented the Internet in the 1930’s.
