Weeping Cherry tree… the things my gal gets me thinking about…

This variety of Cherry Tree is non~fruiting….The average mature height for this variety is 25 to 30 feet tall by 25 feet in width. This tree looks to be over 40′ tall. A rare find considering most grown is this area loose several limbs to borer insects and weather damage before reaching maturity. I plan to go back and take another photo in a few weeks when it is flowering………….Truly a sight to behold!

Got an Idea from sweetalyssm…she’s changing her desktop theme today, so I’m going to go to all the machines today, and put wallpapers on the network names..

Emerson, Twain, Poe, Newton, to name a few.

about 15 machines in all… that’ll give me something to research over time. one a day. 🙂

Landlord’s Girlfriend signed for my DSL modem last night, it turns out. She didn’t leave a not on my door or anything, I had to find out by checking ups tracking. As soon as it’s a reasonable hour, I’m going to try to retrieve it.

I wonder if she even looked at who it was for, or if she’s already opened it up. We’ll see. UPS says she signed for it at 6pm. I’m glad that stuff is tracked in some way…. Sheesh.

Freakazoid comes on at 5:30 on cartoon network. time to start recording it!

Objectives.

1. Get a new recorder… haven’t played in a month!
2. Do more writing. Laptop means it’s even simpler to do. No excuses.
3. Make a point of getting the network card from Astley, so I can share files, soon.
4. reformat big brain, to allow for dual boot between Me(h) and Red Hat… Can be done, now that Lappie is stable and cool.
5. Get a New Job, already! (Or at least get more paying little contracts… the grove was a boon)
6. Get w/Cathi & Dave, to wish them a happy pregnancy.
7. Get w/Dan, before spring Break is over!
8. Get w/Derek this Sunday, Lunch and a talk, probably.
9. More time with my sweetie. (and continue to tell her how much I love her)

That’s a good start. Goal, accomplish at least 4 before next Monday.
