Greasemap is a “user script” for Greasemonkey, which is a plugin framework for Firefox. It augments any web page you visit by searching the page for geocodeable addresses or other geotags. If it finds any, it automatically shows all such locations on a Google Map which is injected into the page you are viewing, within an iframe from Vinq.com. (thanks to chris::wired for the tidbit!)

Saw a Goth girl in some kind of secret ID, bright yellow sundress. Stark contrast against blacker-than-black hair and heavy eyeliner. Still, quite a cutie.

Lisa2, (or Weez & Sedef) sent me a lovely strawberry shortcake glitter night light (red, of course, with strawberry shaped foil bits to spin around). It’s awesome, and matches my blue glitter lava lamp perfectly. Hmm, I guess in proper sense, it would be 2(Lisa)?
It totally made my day, and I was needing a pick-me-up! In the dark, it sends off a very warm glow, compared to the cool light of the blue, too.
Thank you so much!! (Pink in honor of you both, and Strawberry Shortcake.)
I still think Holly Hobbie could totally take Miss Shortcake in a fight, but SS does have a nice scent about her.

5. Did you follow NASA’s latest space mission?
Only the audioblog of one of the astronauts and a lot of the pretty pictures. I didn’t follow it too deeply. I got a sense of false drama about the recovery window, which was a little pesky.
4. If you could launch a politician into space, and perhaps they wouldn’t make it back, who would it be?
Can’t we put ’em all on a big space ark? If I had to pick one, I’d go bakc in time, and put GWB senior on one before current prez was concieved.

I think it’s pretty unlikely, but it’s a nice thought. I also have severe doubts about ghosts, angels and reincarnation.

Hopefully some form that allows them to communicate with us, and makes it easy for us to use alien technology. (No doubt when they come to enslave us/eat us/ want to make “friends” with our children/ etc, we’ll need to turn them against themselves, because I doubt a computer virus from a powerbook or avian flu will do the job.)

Minor case of instant karma last night at the ‘mat. I saw someone leave without her drivers license and credit card, and I brought ’em to her as she was pulling out of the parking lot. She kindly insisted on giving me a fiver to cover the cost of doing the laundry. Presto!
I also gave a homeless guy a pack of matches when he asked if I had a lighter. I carry matches with me all the time now, even if I don’t smoke… I’m not sure when I picked that quirk up, but people always seem to think that I’m a smoker… plus, you never know when you’re going to need fire.
This little chain reaction game thing is far too hypnotic than it should be. 1052 is my current best.

Registered a PIN for student aid.. I’m going to take a few night courses to keep my skill set honed. If Uncle Sam wants to help defray my expenses, I’m more than happy to let him help out.
Once I get my new PIN, I’ll sign up with FAFSA.
Anyone want to take a few courses with me at the Fort Lauderdale Branch of BCC/FAU? I figure I’ll put some polish on my certifications.
Can’t get my shots with the PCP, so back to referrals it is! It was worth a shot.
