I’m always searching for ways to speed up my animation process and Adobe Character Animator might be one of the best tools I’ve found yet. The lip syncing is the fastest I’ve ever seen and it’s super accurate.

Our dear friend Van Ireland passed away sometime this weekend.
He was a solid fixture in our lives, and we visited one another frequently until covid required us to socially distance.
We still messaged back and forth regularly, and shared a lot of bad puns, dirty jokes and more history at which you could swing a cat.
We will miss you dearly, and will cherish our memories together.
Halloween won’t be the same without you.

This is a tribute to the cast and crew of the “Rockford Files” TV series. During the last and final season 6 (1979 – 1980) we had a wrap party, and this is the video I edited to share at the party. Being a film/video editor, it was a pleasure to be part of the crew in those fun days working directly for Jim Garner, a true talent and nice guy. If you didn’t know the next shot to cut to, you could always cut to him for a great reaction, always pure gold! The voice overs in the sound track were that of producer/writers Steve Cannell, David Chase, Juanita Bartlett, and Chas. Floyd Johnson. I was the voice that took the wrath of Jack Klugman when he found the narration had already been done by Dennis Weaver (gag).

The only way my pops can get my pic is if he tuckers me out first. Mom has taken to calling me Gladys Kravitz for my nosy window peeking at the neighbors outside. Pops calls me misspearl, pearlygirly, and pitchpipe because my meows are brief, one-note affairs for the most part. “B, C#, D” I only really make longer statements if I want something in particular. Evil, from Time Bandits ! Very impressed with the soft goods, and facial sculpt. 5 points of articulation, solid paint and model. The gas mask fits nicely on the face and in hand. I plan to have him converse with Sark. I wonder if there are any other David Warner figures? A star trek role, perhaps?
