I really dig these @rocomtoys @mightymaniax figures!
The mix and match modular aspect is going to be quite nice with the new colorways and models. The Mr. T / Luke Cage tribute is sweet. I like the matte for the flesh paints, and gloss for the other stuff. Grape Ape is just faboo too. Who doesn’t love a purple gorlilla? They scale very well with #battletribes and #spymonkeycreations figures, too!
Time to see what shenanigans I can get up to with these before the slashers show up later this week!
Current read, one of the gifts I got @maximillian_deersteak for her birthday a week or so back. I used to read the digests in the library when I was a kid at the start of my run in middle school / junior high, 5th or 6th grade. One part history, one part crafts, one part window to a different world. I later graduated to magazines and collections of whole earth review and the like. It sort of reminds me of an informal version of those guides you could get for merit badges back in the 70s and 80s for boy scouts.
Panda sat came to visit on the porch, presumably to watch the birds and squirrels. I love having her in our yard, much preferred to her roaming the neighborhood streets. Even the slowest birds have little to fear from her. Photo taken by @maximillian_deersteak while going to refill the bird feeder. 🐼 😺
Squirrel laying atop the setup to watch critters hitting the tiny picnic table. That fluffy butt had enough bulk to change the positioning of the camera.
squirrel after putting the camera back on target. (It seems they prefer to rest stop the camera itself, and that points the camera down on the monopod.
Enjoying a nice breakfast of strawberry tops and birdseed.
On my morning walk to the swamp and spotted a new kitty in the neighborhood under a car I hadn’t seen before. While making the attempt to photograph the cat (a very cute short haired tortie), I spotted spotted this “bumper sticker” made ransom note style out of adhesive letters of different sizes. Nice use of an upside down V as an A. “Stop Khemtrailz” who knows in the neighborhood. Could be a gag, a band or a tinfoil hat person. The car appeared otherwise clean, well maintained, and had a few other older stickers in favor of sunsets and beach life. I wonder if this is a visitor, or a new vehicle, or a new resident? The cat looked wild, with no collar. Fully grown. If I see her again, Iight just call her chemtrail.
