Sushi

Ate at umai sushi with Allison, Mindy and Marc tonight, last minute thing. I’ll grill tomorrow instead.
Nice time was had, lots of (primarily foodie) chitter chatter, M&M got a bento box and noodles, but tried some rolls. Service and food was lovely as usual. New spot next door of vintage stuff called… something stew. I forget. Driftwood horses, stained glass, weird birdhouses and the like in the windows.. only open Friday and Sat, will have to check it out.

Monday
Saw the lone ranger and I liked it a lot. I didn’t expect the narrative or the direction it took… pleasantly weird and pressed the right buttons for me. I’m not surprised that most reviewers seem not to like it, though… easy to expect something else.
Met with Allison at the kabob place in Edgewater and got some supplies at giant, that was enjoyable, too.
