New Year’s Eve Eve Eve – Saturday
New Year’s Eve Eve Eve – Saturday
Spent the day just lounging and folding laundry – Watched 95% of Tin Man… not terrible, not great. I think the 6 hours could’ve been boiled down to 2-3 really good hours. Something that probably looked cool on the storyboards, but implemented a little weakly.
The only thing we did today was go out and get the mail… nice grab – Kev got me the 4 DVD “final edition / directors cut / us / euro release” set for Blade Runner, and Misti & Co. hooked us up with a $50 gift certificate to…
9112 – new years eve eve
Lazed about, folding laundry and playing wii most of the day. Maybe a little orange box in a moment, as BHK is heading for the showers… lovely breakfast of giant English muffins, chex, and yogurt.
Tomorrow, back to work – and back to writing more thoroughly, as I have a commute. Not sure which of my holiday books to read first.. If Chins Could Kill, Making Money, or Soon I Will Be Invincible.
Tough call, since I also have a lot of industry goodies to read up on for work, too.I’ll likely mix and match.

Polar Bear Plunge will still happen, unless it gets *really* cold by Tuesday morning.
BHK and I are recovering well from the visits of my Mom and Wilton… it’s fun to host folks, but it’s also nice for some alone-time too.
I’ll be slowly catching up with last week’s entries – so much happening that I’ve not had too much time to document the events.

9105 – sun
9104- Saturday
Wilton and Mom arrive – ate breakfast with them and the in-laws. They’re all looking pretty good – despite a slow season in the business, Mom and Wilt seem to be doing ok.
Did a little touring past Taccaro and had a pretty gentle day. Ended at Mama Lucias.
9102 – friday
Mostly linkies… went to see national treasure tonight with Adam and BHK. It was pretty good, not nearly as well done as the first, but still fun. Cage looked like a freaky manikin with fake hair, skin and teeth in the opening.
Fear the Turtle! – Most of the pictures in this set are of sculptures that were created for the 150th anniversary of UMD. They went around and got all the ones on campus (at least the ones that were installed), but have yet to get the rest.
I really have…

Stopped at maerten’s then booked it home so BHK could cook mac and cheese and shepherd’s pie for X-mas eve dinner.
Had dinner at in laws with mom and Wilton, Cathy and Dave, Tina and Matt and Larry and Chris.
opened old fashioned crackers and got cute presents and funny crowns ate and ate then played apples to apples and stayed up way too late!
