I keep looking to see if they are on the stairs, or thinking to check water levels for them with the warm temps, or I just want on or both of them to sit on my lap and cuddle.

My heart is really breaking. Pye has been gone for a month now. Newton passed over two years ago. When does it get easier? I don’t want to get a new pet until our mourning has eased at least some, but that might be quite a while.

Had to heimlich Allison to dislodge a bit of lunch from her throat. She is ok now, but it was a real fright when it was happening . I hope I didn’t break one of her ribs. Right now her only pain is a really rough throat.
