Applelard / Jen visited with us from about noon to nine today. We had a lovely time and a tasty midday meal meal at plaza Mexico. A short trip to the candy store and the local gallery before we ran back home to prevent us from melting. She got to meet Pye and Newton as well… Newt didn’t beat the stuffing out of her, and so she’s ahead of Tarpo / Rob.

I can’t believe Jen and I have talked back and forth for nearly a baker’s dozen years but never met in person until now. As expected, she was a sweetheart and got along with all of us swimmingly. Hilarious, easy-going and conversational. We look forward to seeing her and her family again sometime soon.
