Reading Westerns makes me want to play Red Dead Redemption (either one or two) again. I’ll probably do that sometime after the holidays, once we have more time. It doesn’t take much, being in what is probably my top three game series.

Reading Westerns lately, both in comics and in text literature, I’ve noticed that poncho dynamics seem to be very underrated. I think you could pull off a Batman-like cape if done correctly, billowing out a bit to make it harder to hit your body mass.

After reading the latest issue of Immortal Thor, I had to rewind to issue 68 from 2003 to refresh my memory on the “lord of earth” storyline. I forgot that the cover was so misleading.

Chunky Skunk 🦨 visitor this morning (nov 21, 2024 at about 4am) I hope that fox isn’t looking for a skunk dinner. I suspect this fuzzy little onion would give him a real good spray as an appetizer. It got Pearl pretty excited, which woke us up… I did a little patrol around the house before checking the camera for outside hubbub.

It’s easy to reflect on a villain like the Red Skull these days; there have been more than a few storylines where he infiltrated the government to become president, seeding the worst cowards, fascists and bootlickers to his support staff. I was trying some side views, and I found it amusing that a side-turned noggin bone and a question mark have a lot in common. Celebrating Hawkman’s 85 Years of Comics: November 20, 1939 – November 20, 2024 I have often thought that the best Hawkman to my mind would be Jeff Goldblum back in his “The Fly” years. He had acting chops, a neat, sort of alien set of mannerisms, a slim but muscular build, and a facial structure that just works. Plus, I would have loved to see Gentleman Ghost or Shadow Thief as baddies in a movie, too. I don’t know whom I would pick to play them, and it likely wouldn’t matter physically since I expect they would be mostly special effects. As for Hawkwoman… I dont know. Day 20,379 Today, I took a short walk to the golf course, doodled for a bit, did some chores, had a simple dinner, and now I’m relaxing on the couch. You know, the usual. I hope you had a lovely day.
