Where is my ride?

Going for my walk. Early-morning style! Let’s see how I like it at 8 am, instead of 9:30ish. 🙂

It’s a beautiful day out, the sun is shining, birds are chirping, Newtie is lovey, my Sweetie said I was sooo cute, and looked yummy and so I’m happy and flattered about that. 🙂

Mmm.. when I take my walk, I picture myself holding her hand, and sort of just loving the world… how can anyone not want to roam the park or the beach that way?

When I was a kid, a friend of mine had a cat, Dartie, that would follow him to the school bus, wait for it to come with us, then it would go home…. I would love to take newt on a walk without some sort of leash, but he’s really not an outdoor cat. Besides… he’s a cat.. we’d get out there, and one sunbeam… *floomp* hell lay in it, rolling around cutely… not much for a hike.

That said, I’m off. See you kids, later, after I get back, shower and am ready for work.

How do animals know to look us in the eye? Shouldn’t they be looking at our moving parts, like, for example, our mouths when we’re talking to them?

When I point my finger at something, Newt will stare diligently at it. (My finger, not the object I’m trying to direct him to.) he’s such a babyhead.

Wow, yuppies really evoke a dark side of my personality.

I shouldn’t make fun of anyone’s “religion”… but soulless corporate drones are vile things to me. Walk alike, talk alike, tail kissing plastic faces. Designer haircuts, power ties, looks before ability. Blind fish who swim in a dark cave… unaware of the environment around them, save for what they might eat, or what might eat them. Albino, ugly things when put into the light.

So, Scotto, how do you really feel? Bitter?

No. not really. I feel inconvenienced by the standards they have… people who use “overqualified” as an excuse not to hire someone who has long hair, or doesn’t look the mold.

But I realize this: If no standards existed, they’d hire folks that I couldn’t abide. The “pig-pens” of the world. Working in the computer industry, I bounce off the other end of the social spectrum too. Bad Breath, infrequent bathers, people who burst pimples on bathroom mirrors, and leave the remains for the next one in to see(gag) and folks who smoke far too much… to the point of bringing a gagging stench into the computer room even though it’s supposedly smoke-free. It seems that I end up working with the latter, because I’m not in the mold of the former.

Where does one draw the line? To my convenience, of course!

If you’re not obliged to meet clients or customers…

Allow Sandals. Long hair, and maybe a fun T-shirt instead of a collared shirt on Friday. Ties optional. Allow beards. Allow Music on headphones, if not on a community stereo

regulate Hygiene, comfortable but clean clothes (and bodies), please make people pick up messes, and have sick people go home, rather than spread ick and poor morale. no foul smells or language, (save for extenuating circumstances) and be generally polite to one another.

That’s what I’d like.

Another reason I love my sweetie… she digs those guys more then Scully & Mulder, too. Could someone tell me how I lucked into such a darlin’? Anyhoo, the show is fun, although I’m not fond of the deliverate ‘mis-speaks’. (The Chinese bombing Pearl Harbor, etc) The opening of them being young was a hoot, too.

Scotto hungry. I wish the Hulk were here, to share his tasty fruit pies with me… Cherry would taste soooooo good right now. I guess I’ll have to settle for breakfast for lunch. Lucky Charms mixed in vanilla yogurt (instead of milk), Orange juice, Coffee, and my net-paper.

Oh, man… my overhead light just went out, and I’m out of bulbs. my cam’s going to be dark as well as fuzzy… feh.

Morning walk went well, soft rains kept it cool, and I saw a lot of people out and about… gave me an idea for a new story… may be too large to post here, though… I’ll write it, and post a link.
