just about out of georgia now – savannah was lovely! bhk and I had lavender ice cream and walked the squares last night before hitting the sack at the holiday inn express – an awesome hotel. got up this morning and roamed the riverwalk first thing for about an hour before breakfast. there is so much wonderful archetecture and spanish moss everywhere! on I95 south now heading for jacksonville. we have already seen one and a half armadillos by the side of the road, Bhk’s first! additional note, our bed had 8 pillows, and bhk used six of them, i used one and kicked the remaining one to the floor. the savannah meteorologist looks like uncle fester… saw lots of paula deen stuff and reproductions of the garden of good and evil statue… were going to have beignets but the waitress at the cafe we passed was too hung over to figure out how to serve us. stuckey’s pecan log rolls are not as
good as we remembered, but the sentient bean had fantastic veggie wraps and coffee.
