A 25-year-old man was jailed Tuesday afternoon after he allegedly handcuffed himself to a railing at Fox River Mall — while he was nude.
Grand Chute police said the man was cuffed to a railing in the upper mezzanine when they were called about 12:15 p.m.
Police said he was wearing only leg warmers, a wig, slippers and a “tiger-striped hat with ears” when they arrived.
I feel good… valentine’s day in mah belly. 🙂 hee hee hee….
*does a little dance*
I only got to speak a few words to my love this evening, seeing her appear gave a rush of happiness, and having to depart so swifty stung bitterly. I hope to catch up to her in the realm of dreams soon.
Tomorrow, I look forward to a day of much more time together and some catching up on today.
Sweet dreams and happy awakenings to her, and all.
Why do we need a replacement for Matt’s Script Archive?
The problem is that the scripts in Matt’s Script Archive aren’t very good. The scripts are well known amongst the Perl community to be badly written, buggy and insecure. Anyone asking for support on Matt’s scripts in any forum will be told in no uncertain terms that they shouldn’t use his scripts. The link above has a lovely collection of replacement scripts, that you can swap out in exchange for Matt’s.
Yikes.. the #10 was very crowded this morning. Standing room only… I was disappointed that more mem didn’t give seats to the women. I’m old-fashioned that way. I wonder what happened to the old days when there were hanging hoops to hold on to on the bus… now there’s just a lowish metal bar running the length of either side of the aisle.
New internet precautions added to the firewall… bah… it includes more elaborate monitoring software. Fortunately the LJ client and assorted chatties are still allowed, but I wonder if there’s going to be some havoc regarding surfing. If that’s the case, I can always bring in lappie, and snag a free dial-up phone line. (won’t be the same speed, but c’est la vie.)
cue to montage of slo-mo, skewed, David Cronenberg-meets-David Lynch-like images of said soft-skinned and untainted laser dept folks being dragged up the colossal basalt steps of a pre-human temple, while the programming dept folks chant and beat on taiko-like drums. At the top of the stairs, in front of a huge, sixteen ton Internet Explorer logo carved from a single clear crystal quartz block, backlit with sky blue footlights, Sappho the Mighty waits to slit the surfers’ throats with a silver-hilted obsidian knife. Scotto the Yeti-Pod hangs around sipping an Octopus (1 shot light rum 151, 1 shot orange juice, 1 shot passion fruit nectar, dash Angostura bitters, soda – Holding the soda, pour the rest of the ingredients into a large snifter. Fill with finely crushed ice. Top with soda and stir)
I just have to make a point of protecting my own neck from mister knife, by keeping surfing to places of company interest for a while. (except during breaks.) I don’t want that ugly rumor starting back up about me… not while the Chupacabra is still the flavor of the day. “Small Hands” has plenty to fill his focus for the meantime, without adding me or Island Boy to the mix. The folks first on the altar might be Bon Bon, or Bon Bon Spawn. Riker and Mortimer are probably safe. Old and Young Macdonald will be ok, as long as they keep bejeweled to a minimum. Murphy and Hoi don’t surf at all, as far as I know.
Let’s see if the busses run on time today. 🙂 Was awakened by friendly Newtie taps, asking to play this morning. Not the evil face, but an nuzzy, purry awakening.
I called mp this morning and they assured me that it would be handled today. I hope so… that money can be put to better uses… Valentine’s Day is coming, don’t ya know.
Well, mp still hasn’t refunded the money that it was supposed to take care of last thursday. Tomorrow, first thing, it’ll be time to use words like “theft” and “lawyer” when I call. Pesky. Note to self – Customer Service 800-360-1722
The Tron extra features are nice, and the deleted scenes interesting, though I’m glad that they were cut. I’m very interested in the sequel, now… http://tronkillerapp.com for a totally non-revealing teaser. Funny… I can remember quite clearly going to see the movie with James Dawsey when I was in 7th grade. about four years left before the down times. maybe I’ll refect more on Unity junior high and the times with James, Kevin Cummins, and that phase of life. Being a santa for the first time for the twins club, and my first gig as a library assistant.
Hitting the sack… see you in the AM, Journal… time for bed, and dreams of bliss and birthday presents. 😉
Wondering where my sweetie is… I suspect she tucked into bed early again. Well, huggy-snuggy love thoughts to her, wherever she may be. 🙂
Watching the Tron DVD… very nice conversion, and the software’s dvd player is very nice. sharp.
I still remember the passwords.. what a dork. Reindeer Flotilla.
So many blues and reds, a couple of golds…. I remember wanting there to be some green guys. I guess there was too much cyan to mix out.
The toga outfits… frisbees. always a hoot.
If you see a homeless guy wearing a ‘Rams Super Bowl XXXVI Champions’ shirt, here’s why
reason #45 as to why newt stays indoors. (I fear time-travelling Englishmen). gag. see the bottom – (The man who fought dogs for carrion).
Gruesome hood ornament. – A man in Florida with a machete beheaded another man during a fight, then placed the severed head on the hood of a car as neighbors watched. Speaking of beheading…
and especially for my sweetie – http://www.1001freefonts.com/ .. oh, how I love her, and oh, how she loves fonts.
I’m packing up the building and heading out. be home in a few.

I wonder if I should drop my land line, and just get a cablemodem and a cell phone. it looks like it might be less than my current setup is now, and much more handy. more research is needed.
I have a bellyache. I blame Fruit2O. I want my sweetheart to come pick me up from work, drive me home, and stroke my brow as I rest my head in her lap. My tummy doesn’t hurt that bad, really, but I’d still like to have that other stuff. [addendum: I also want a foot massage, which I will gladly reciprocate] I really love her to bits and pieces and fragments and atoms. *sending her a mental squeezie*
Thanks to blue for this linkie –
If you’re looking for something interesting to do, there’s enough detailed information on the life, home and family of the last Tsar of Russia at The Alexander Palace Time Machine to keep you on a history bingefest for the remainder of the year. Knock yourself out.
You know, I think it’s impossible to get television news without some sort of spin on it now… I wish there was a “boring news” channel, with just the facts. “A man breaking into a house was bitten by a dog today, on the corner of fifth and main. The man was taken for emergency treatment before being shuttled to the police department… No word yet if the charges of B&E will stick, but he is considered a suspect in a rash of burglaries. The dog has a clean bill of health from the vet, and is home as of this broadcast” Is that so hard? I know some things are more difficult to remove opinion or speculation for, but I prefer to leave speculation to myself, if I wasn’t there to witness the event. A flip side to this is watching two news channels I don’t really want too much speculation… if I want a left or right wing slant on the news, there’s abc or fox, respectively. spin bugs me.
