Look to the center and see if you can spot the blue heron standing between the trees!
#swampwalk social isolation quarantine day 375
#bogsafari in addition to the blue heron above, the water was much more active with frogs and tiny fish. I stayed back so the bird could eat lunch in peace. Seen on my route included a very handsome tan shepherd mix of unusual size (maybe part dane or mastiff? ) a belled calico cat ignoring dustant little brown songbirds and an assortment of humans walking in the balmy upper 60s F temperatures.
Red buds coming in and pond scum is a minor spectrum of colors from green to orange.
Looking forward to getting my moderna shot tomorrow. Wish me and mine good luck!

“White Apes: These are terrible monsters with a cunning almost equal to human. Many seem to have a rough tribal organization, and those that do always use stone (or some other form of) clubs. . . They infest the abandoned cities of Barsoom, and they are also found in many other places.” The 6-limbed white apes of Barsoom were said to be a favorite monster of Gary Gygax, eventually reappearing as D&D’s girallon.
