Wacky day yesterday… was at work until about 2am, but I enjoyed it. interesting puzzles to solve, and I was entertained throughout the evening. Just a FYI. There is no such thing as ‘political Rate’ mailings in the USA anymore. I researched that for a good 5 hours yesterday on my own time. Ack. The downside of working when the Post Office is closed, and with it the help desk.
What did I eat yesterday? I forget. Chinese tofu somesuch, not memorable. More spicy stuff next time.
I wonder how many folks out there(in here?) write for other folks besides themselves. Some journals are pure entertainment for me, and others seem to be more of a logbok of ‘I had a foot cramp today’.
I personally do a mix, now that I know people are out there reading it, but it’s mostly for my own enjoyment. (As any hobby should be, I feel. if it was work, I’d try to get paid to do it.)
Does burger king always smell bad? the guys at work brought it in, and its gross. Like it was predigested. peeyew.
Today’s food, cherry slushie, half-eaten onion rings,(before being grossesd out by the aroma.)

Well, April is gone.
Well, April is gone. 5 hours toward Utah at this writing. A good thing for her I think, and for me too. I’m feeling some separation anxiety, which surprises me, I guess any change in habit is disconcerting. I hope I can maintain communication with her, but I’m guessing that she won’t make the effort. We’ll see, maybe she’ll write or call. I’ll keep my ‘3 shots then skip’ rule.
Having privacy again is weird. I keep expecting someone to come home, or be late or something. But I’m alone with Newt now. Oh! That Reminds me, I need to set up the Newtcam again, now that I’m not stepping on anyone’s private toes.
Where has mootpoint gone off too? I miss him. A good guy.
Suzy goes on her cruise starting next weekend. Hm. Just as well, I’d probably rebound at her with great velocity if she was around. I don’t want that.
Danny is back at School teaching again… he’s going to be quite busy.
Little Brother and I will get together, and I look forward to seeing Robby, and Dave, and Cathi, too.

Had a great day at the graves museum. Saw dino bones, and all manner of keen stuff. Got to see a behind the scenes tour of the panarama stuff… I never realised so much art went into museum displays! Keen sculpture, taxidermy, molding and real keen airbrushing stuff.
The woman in charge was wonderfully talented, and pretty cool, too. I suspect she was australian.
Had a garden burger w/ baked spud, loads of water and iced tea for lunch,
saltines w swiss & saltines with cheddar, fresh grapes and water for supper.

Foodstuff yesterday, very little. 3 slices of mushroom & olive pizza, 3 glasses of Iced tea, and some water. two little squares of swiss cheese.
Either going out with little bro today, or hitting the graves museum with the everway gang.

Ate 2 morningstar farms hot-pockets, pseudo pepperoni pizza, had a big cherry slushie from burger king, and unquantifiable (by me) amount of water, for breakfast I had a bagel w/peanut butter. for supper, I hope to nosh on some taco bell… we’ll see what the night crew wants. maybe chinese?
Talked to Zoe, and Danny and other folks briefly, had fun… but now it’s time to head home, so I’ll see you kids on the flipside…

Playing Catchup!
Well, last night, I went with buddy Dan to see X-Men. (my 2nd time, his first), since I got out of the job early, I actually was able to do some socializing tonight… got an offer to see the patriot with Robby & Co, but I’ve already seen it a few times, anyhow, and wasn’t up to another 3 hour extravaganza. A shame, really, because I’d hav eliked to see the gang… but they’d have been in the dark, and shtum the whole time, too.
I was bad yesterday foodwise. Before going to see the movie, Danny & I went to Hops, my first time there, even though it’s pretty close to the house & the theatre. I got 2 alligator ales, a local microbrew which was tasty and not too bitter. With that, I got an order of Jalapeno poppers and a baked potato with chives, sour cream, and butter. Yum. Fattening, but yum. For lunch, I had 2 slices of cheese pizza from Pizza Hut (Sorry hungry howies, they ordered it from work. Upside, if I had gotten it from HH, I’d have had more than 2 slices.) I drank a total of 12 liters of water, and I think I absorbed almost all of it. It’s odd, but 2 beers can make me want to pee, but that much water is shrugged off, for the most part. Of course, I was sweating profusely during my walk this morning, so I’m guessing that’s where it ran off to.
got back on schedule, walked my 5 mile walk, after missing it yesterday.
I suspect ol’ April’s reading my journal, not that I mind, terribly. Either her, or Newton’s surfing the net when I’m not home. 🙂

When last we saw super-grover… Uh, wait, wrong story.
Anyhow. I work the next week or so from noon to 8 instead of from 4 to midnight. It should improve my social standing, at least for a bit. 🙂 I get out early tonight, and I think I’m going to hook up with pal Danny, and go see some movie… I don’t know what’s left to see!
Still haven’t caught Me, Myself, & Irene or gone in 60 sec. I don’t know if I want ot see the Kid.
Nothing this week really appeals to me, not even the Harrison Ford thing. I wish Hollow man opened Today. Or Even Thomas the Tank Engine. Hmm… I’ve not seen Rocky and Bullwinkle yet… I hear it’s stinky, but I’m a fan of the old school stuff. I’m not up for another 3 hour movie, but Sunshine looks neat, too. I look forard to seeing how the mood & music settings fit.

Second. April sounded sincere yesterday when she said she’d look for an apartment today. I was home until 2pm, and she didn’t even get as far as changing out of her jammies. Fair enough, it’s her day off, but I feel a bit upset that she’s not making the effort. Ah well, She’ll have considerably more $$ in 2 weeks, and if I have to, I’ll find her a place myself. I just don’t want to get into my standard catch-22. (Here’s some help, I don’t want help!, Well do it yourself! Don’t tell me what to do! Ack.) I can feel the confrontation coming, I’ll just gently push for a while, so it won’t be totally unexpected, but I still feel like I’m being used. Feh.
