A little squirrel is enjoying a fresh breakfast of squash up the road from our place. He has a ways to go before finishing, but I will wager that a solid effort will be put in. We saw him after we hit the farmers market early today and grabbed some onion dill bread from @blacksburgbagels, as well as lettuce, tomato sauce, and five-cheese ravioli. Farewell, Halloween… I am glad we still have Autumn for a bit. 🥮 🍂 My in-laws head home tomorrow, so it’s back to just the triad of @scottobear, @maximillian_deersteak, and @pearlsquirrel… less dining out, more board games and Lego, fewer PBS Masterpiece Mysteries.
